A scientific company, based in Cambridge, are currently looking for a few Machine Learning Engineers to help with a number of Computer Vision and Machine Vision projects that will help develop cutting edge robotic systems.Working within a team of Machine Learning Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists, you will be using your application of Computer Vision, Machine Vision and Reinforcement Learning to improve existing product and help develop future generations of the technology.The company is having a lot of success with their technology, with interest across the world. This means they are in a good position to grow and as the product creates more data it increases the need to have Machine Learning Engineers to help continually improve the technology.Fault finding and problem solving will be a big part of your role, ideally using Python and Bayesian Methods, however other software tools or methodologies will be welcome if your work has been on Computer Vision, Machine Vision and Reinforcement Learning.This technology is going to be very big in the robotics sector and the continued development of the software, computer vision, machine vision and safety protocols will be vital for its success. Due to this, your role and the team you are in will be very important.The company is expanding and due to this you will likely get the opportunity to grow into a more senior role. Due to this, there is a hope that you would have previously helped mentor more junior members of staff, however this is not essential.You do not need to have worked in a robotics field previously, however it would be advantageous. All we ask is that is was within a highly complex and regulated field. This could be gaming, medical devices, finance, aerospace, defence or another complex field.Along with a degree within a machine learning, AI, computer science, data science, algorithm development field (or similar subject) we would like you to have some industry exposure. This could be a few years after university, a placement year or even working on commercial consultancy projects for a university.When successful, you will be rewarded with career development, skills training, a great starting salary and benefits package.
